ARAN receives AS9100 certification for laser sintering

ARAN, a leading Israeli design, development and manufacturing firm with years of experience as a provider of additive manufacturing of parts and products, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded official accreditation to the AS9100 international aerospace quality standard for the laser sintering technology they use. This is in addition to the ISO 9001:2008 certifications the company has held.

ARAN has earned the AS9100 certificate for the production of plastic parts using additive manufacturing. The company’s facility features the most advanced center in Israel for fast additive production, from small scale to serial production, using the laser sintering technology from EOS, worldwide leading technology provider for additive manufacturing of metals and polymers.

AS9100 is the internationally recognized quality management system standard specific to the aerospace, aviation and defense industries. This standard is strongly supported and adhered to by major aerospace OEMs and is increasingly being required by vendors within the supply chain. AS9100 is managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). This standard includes ISO 9001:20151 quality management system requirements.
