EOS launches LCS group for customer support

In working with customers, EOS North America, the world’s leading technology provider for industrial 3D printing of metals and polymers, found that inadequate training accounts for nearly 50 percent of the average AM system’s untapped potential. Additionally, 70 percent of an AM machine’s downtime is due to lack of necessary, preventative maintenance. To unlock the potential and increase customer satisfaction, EOS has announced the launch of its Life Cycle Solutions group which is designed to provide complete customer support including product installation, material selection, machine service, process improvements, and upgrades.

The Life Cycle Solutions group works with organizations to proactively address downtime, make informed decisions about materials that they select and maximize the return on their AM investment. EOS North America recruited machine tool and service industry expert Darin Chartier to lead this new group as Director of Life Cycle Solutions.
