Source3™, one of the platform for licensing and distribution of 3D content has raised $4 million in Series Seed funding, which is led by Contour Venture Partners and supported by Western Technology Investments, Correlation Ventures, Crosslink Capital, 645 Ventures. Autodesk, Inc., a 3D design engineer and entertainment software, has also participated as an investor through Autodesk’s Spark Investment Fund.
Source3 is said to develop the processes and technologies required to unlock the 3D ecosystem. Source3 is a combination of music licensing innovators and 3D printing experts, who are mainly focused on unlocking the promise of 3D printing using scalable and customizable rights management solutions.
The Spark investment fund improves the 3D printing in all areas of the ecosystem. The growth of Source3 provides unique and innovative approach to aggregate, license and distribute the 3D content.
