Addaero signs a research agreement with NUWC

Addaero Manufacturing is excited to announce they have signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWC Newport). The agreement is related to the material characterization of components fabricated via the Arcam Electron Beam Melting (EBM) system using Ti 6-4. The testing will be focused on material properties related to applications in the naval environment.

Addaero has housed the Arcam EBM systems for three years, and employs a team of highly skilled engineers from the undergraduate to PhD level. Addaero has over 20 years of combined experience with metal additive manufacturing has a proven production ready process for the most demanding environments.
