Medical is one of the fastest growing application areas of 3D printing / Additive Manufacturing. After a very successful first 3D fab+print Seminar at MEDICA / COMPAMED in 2017, this year Additive Manufacturing will again be addressed at the yearly international trade fair for medical professionals in Düsseldorf, Germany.
On Monday, November 12 a full-day Conference on Additive Manufacturing for medical applications will be organised at MEDICA / COMPAMED, where global professionals can gain (more) insight in the most interesting developments. Since the 3D printing market is a rapidly evolving one – especially in the medical field, with application options increasing and being tweaked each day – staying regularly updated on the possibilities of Additive Manufacturing is vital.
The programme will exist of presentations that tie into the specific information need of medical professionals. Both newcomers to Additive Manufacturing and professionals that have already gained an insight (at the 2017 event) will attend the 3D fab+print Conference in November 2018.
Call for Presentations
When you wish to participate in the Conference by giving a presentation on the solutions and/or challenges of Additive Manufacturing in the medical world, you are invited to email an abstract of 200–300 words (describing the topic you would like to address) as well as a (prospective) title for your presentation by June 5th 2018 latest to Jolanda Heunen.
Please include your name, function title, company name and full company address details (including you email address should this differ from the address your email is sent from) with your submission.
Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by June 12th 2018 latest. When your submitted abstract is accepted, you will receive a complimentary ticket for the 3D fab+print Conference including a 1-day entrance ticket to MEDICA / COMPAMED.
The focus of all presentations should be on providing in-depth technical and/or practical information of non-commercial nature. Suggested abstract/presentation topics include:
