EOS, a world leading technology supplier in the field of industrial 3D printing of metals and polymers, has announced its membership to the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) based in Coventry, England. The MTC membership demonstrates EOS’s continued commitment to the UK’s manufacturing sector.

Established in 2010, the MTC is an independent Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) with the objective of bridging the gap between academia and industry – often referred to as ‘the valley of death’. It represents one of the largest public sector investments in UK manufacturing. Over the past five years, the MTC has grown rapidly and has seen the expansion of its campus with the construction of three major facilities, including the opening of the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing in 2015.

EOS, whose technology is currently implemented by a number of high profile companies across several industrials including automotive, aerospace and healthcare, continues to drive the adoption of industry 4.0 in the UK.
