EOS, the world’s leading technology supplier in the field of industrial 3D printing of metals and polymers, is opening a new location in Germany, the EOS Innovation Center Düsseldorf. The customer and technology center offers companies regional support for their 3D printing innovation projects with a wide range of consulting and training services that address key aspects along the entire process chain.

The Innovation Center has around 1,000 m² of floor space for individualized customer consultation, including a large area with EOS systems for industrial 3D printing with polymer and metal materials. To this the EOS team at the Center offers both consultation and training courses – including specialized advice on designing and optimizing the parts to be manufactured, the Additive Manufacturing process itself, and planning of production.

Apart from working together with companies, EOS plans to collaborate closely with universities of applied sciences in the region with the aim of training the AM specialists of the future.
