EQT VII (”EQT“) has entered into an agreement to acquire Limacorporate S.p.A. (”Lima“) from Ardian, the independent private investment company, and other minority owners. Lima is an Italian-based manufacturer of orthopaedic devices, with products covering the whole spectrum of large joint and extremities reconstruction. The Company is headquartered in Udine, Italy, and has approximately 750 employees.

The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities, and is expected to close in the first half of 2016.
