ExOne, a global provider of 3D printing machines and 3D printed and other products, has opened its new state-of-the-art Design and Re-Engineering for Additive Manufacturing (‘DREAM’) center located within its North Huntingdon facility.
ExOne has developed the center as a physical and virtual site for collaboration with customers to explore and incorporate the benefits of its binder jetting technology. The center provides a global access to the company’s creative technical expertise and offers the most advanced software currently available, thereby enables customers to create designs of metal components which increases the benefits of additive manufacturing. It will be a catalyst for the 3D production of parts without the limitations of traditional methods.
S. Kent Rockwell, Chairman and CEO of ExOne, says “As we focus on accelerating the adoption rate of our binder jetting technology for industrial manufacturing of metal components, we’re excited to launch our world-class DREAM center. It is an integrated engineering environment supporting our customers, our production service centers, our research and development activities, and our global sales team. We believe the DREAM center will further facilitate customer training and design support, helping users optimize 3D printing and the benefits it can bring to their manufacturing processes.”
