Canon, specialist in imaging solutions, has declared recently that the FT Solutions have extended its service offering to incorporate 3D printing, having installed its first ProJet® 660Pro. The new division, named FT3D, will establish new 3D services, such as giving customers the opportunity to print photorealistic 3D printed figurines alongside their favourite sports or entertainment celebrity.
Tom Gurd, Managing Director at FT Solutions, explains, “3D printing represents a huge opportunity, enabling us to expand our offering, provide a new type of service, and achieve a faster time to market for our clients. We already have an exciting pipeline made up of existing and new clients excited to see how the technology can add an extra dimension to their brand marketing and customer interaction proposition. The team at Canon has in-depth knowledge of our business and technology needs – their consultation has been first class and confirmed that this is absolutely the right partnership for us. We’re excited to be working with Canon as we look to expand our 3D printing proposition in the future.”
The ProJet® 660Pro creates full-colour parts in exceptional high quality. With some of the fastest print speeds available, businesses can transform ideas into reality in hours, at a very low cost per part.
