Materialise NV opens a new building at its headquarters in Leuven, following the inauguration of its new office in Poland in September. The new buildings will expand production capacity as well as increase office space.
At the Materialise headquarters in Leuven, Belgium, the new building will not only increase production space, but also provide an additional 5,500 m² of office space for the company’s expanding workforce, allowing Materialise to continue investing in its people, and continue to empower meaningful 3D printing applications.
In Poland, the new building will primarily consist of increased production capacity, with space for over 80 SLS printers, making it the biggest facility of its kind in the country.
Materialise’s Factory for 3D Printing is one of the largest in the world. With a growing demand for certified serial production, the early adoption of new technologies such as HP’s Multi Jet Fusion and the growth of associated brands such as RapidFit, this increased capacity will further strengthen and support the expansion of Materialise’s offering of solutions and services.
