Prodways is expanding its sales coverage to Japan and attended the large Japanese industrial show for Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing technologies at the end of June.

Prodways and Aspect announced that they have entered a partnership to introduce Prodways MovingLight® Technology in the Japanese market. Aspect, inc. is a well-reputed Japanese Powder Bed Fusion machines and materials supplier.

To start the collaboration, Aspect hosted Prodways on its booth at the DMS Show (Design & Engineering Manufacturing Solutions Expo, held on 24–26 June in Tokyo, Japan). DMS is an industrial show for Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing vendors in Japan and attending the show allowed Prodways to promote its full range of 3D printing solutions.

“We are very pleased to be working with Prodways to introduce Prodways MovingLight® Technology to the Japanese market,” says Seiji Hayano, President of Aspect, Inc. “We feel that Prodways solutions will complement our established position in Powder Bed Fusion technologies and strengthen our ability to better serve the diverse application needs of the Japanese market. DMS Expo will be a great opportunity to start our joint efforts in Japan.”

The partnership was signed following the announcement by Groupe Gorgé of a fundraising transaction of €25 million for Prodways, speeding up the implementation of the strategy to become the third-largest player in the world to offer a range of multi-technological services and all 3D printing services to its customers. Prodways will also attend the tradeshow ProtoKorea, held on 1–3 July, with its partners SNC and MSR technologies.
