SprintRay has announced full integration with 3Shape’s Implant Studio software used by dental professionals to digitally plan implant procedures. SprintRay’s 3D printers now enable professionals using 3Shape Implant Studio to 3D print designed surgical guides for dental implant surgery. The guides can be printed in less than an hour using SprintRay’s flagship MoonRay high-resolution 3D printer and biocompatible surgical guide resin.
3Shape’s Implant Studio software merges cone beam computed tomography and surface scans to provide a comprehensive view of a patient’s clinical situation. This enables professionals to prosthetically plan, as well as design, restorative elements used in the implant procedure; in addition to designing and producing surgical guides.
SprintRay’s high-resolution 3D printers can also be used to print a wide-selection of other oral appliances such as dental models, nightguards, retainers, crowns, denture bases, and indirect bonding trays. SprintRay’s hardware, software, and materials work together to deliver optimal accuracy, efficiency, and ease-of-use for the dental industry.
