Systec and DEMCON will be demonstrating practical automation solutions for the intelligent factory of the future at Automatica 2018, held from 19 to 22 June in Munich, Germany.
At Automatica 2018 the eye-catcher at the Systec stand in the ‘IT2Industry’ forum in Hall B4, Stand 219, will be the large-capacity industrial printer, inv3nt xtraL.
The motion automation specialist will also be presenting ‘Fleximould’, the automated pin forming module for thermoforming applications. Fleximould was developed at DEMCON in Enschede. The Dutch high-tech company acquired Systec GmbH at the beginning of the year.
“We are looking forward to presenting the extended competence of Systec GmbH at the leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics,” says Jan Leideman, Branch Manager of Systec GmbH and Business Development Manager at DEMCON. “Systec and DEMCON have extensive experience in the development and implementation of mechanical engineering solutions for the smart factory.
“The IT2Industry Forum offers us an attractive environment to demonstrate how we have implemented a unique FFF/FDM-3D printing concept based on our standardised production cell solution Systec Automation Base,” he adds.
Systec GmbH is particularly looking forward to professional exchange with other Industry 4.0 companies. On Thursday, 21 June 2018, from 10:40 am, Jan Leideman will be giving his own presentation at the ‘IT2Industry’ discussion forum in Hall B4, Stand 216. ‘Smart industry, putting words into action’ is the title of his presentation, in which he will identify prerequisites and strategies with which the digital transformation in companies can succeed.
